I'm doing mindfulness exercises.

Loads of warm colours this year in the DDs. 

Mr Fear

I changed the song I was listening to while drawing this, so the mood of this picture shifted.
Felt like the last few drawings I've done looked the same, so tried using a different brush this time.

Wanted to draw my old OC Coconut, but as a mermaid.
Also tried to draw iridescent effect? How does one even?

traveling

This was very much a, "JUST DRAW SOMETHING... YEAH THAT'LL DO, I GUESS" -mood.

Overview:

• wanted to draw something more than just a head. Wow. a torso.
• very stiff pose. work on drawing loose sketches with less rigid lines
• wanted to have minimal, accented blue. limit the range of the colours.

I hate it, but, it's something. I have to churn out the shit to get better. My hand actually started to feel tired mid-way through colouring. That's.... not good. How rusty I hath become.

Steven Universe continues to be a groundbreaking cartoon about diversity, love, friendship, and overcoming adversity.
...and it's full of that good, gay shit.
We saw some good shit on the season 5 finale. Y'know, only cried a few times.

All The Stars

I've been trying to smash this out for a while. Listening to a particular song, it can make you feel a certain way. This song makes me at times hopeful and excited, then other times sad.
I didn't really know what I wanted to draw. A figure reaching towards the stars, somehow elevated so that they were closer and within reach of them? Idk.

I want to express that today was an okay day. Also a gloomy day.
