Finarry! A Trish with a face I'm happy with!
I've always struggled with getting it right. I want to portray her personality through her icy stare and devilish smirk.
Anyhooooo.
On a random whim today I decided to google if there are any local life drawing classes around.
As it turns out, there is! At the Art Gallery of Ballarat~
I want to sign myself up. Using photo references just doesn't compare to having a live model to work from, I've found. When I did fine arts, my life drawing class was my favorite. Also because my teacher was great.
Yesterday I got a portait-ish thing done.
whips: the sketch | the pretty much finished
My classmate asked me to draw him as an Assassin. I thought he was joking until he followed up on it a couple times. So there it is! My friend Josh, garbed out in Mentor Ezio robes.
Because Revelations Ezio is my favorite outfit. 8Db yesm.
I don't know how I feel about how it turned out. I'm still on a crusade to use more colour in my works. Even today's DD I tried using colour, but I ended up changing it and reeling in the range. The original background for it was explosive red and yellows - it was weird to look at. Ho hum.
